Job Title: Digital Marketing Strategist
Description: The Digital Marketing Strategist owns the high-level architecture of multi-channel marketing campaigns. This role is responsible for the strategic integration of PPC, SEO, Content, and Social Media into a cohesive roadmap that achieves client business objectives.
The strategist controls the allocation of resources and budgets across channels and establishes the KPIs for campaign success. Responsibility includes conducting deep market research, defining target personas, and auditing existing marketing infrastructures. Impact is measured by the overall effectiveness of the marketing mix and the long-term growth of client accounts. This role requires the ability to interpret complex data sets and transform them into actionable, high-level operational plans that drive revenue and market share.
Roles / Tasks:
* Design and document comprehensive digital marketing strategies for new and existing clients.
* Conduct in-depth market and competitor research to inform campaign positioning.
* Define and track high-level KPIs and performance benchmarks for all marketing channels.
* Audit client marketing funnels to identify areas for optimization and growth.
* Lead strategic workshops and discovery sessions with client stakeholders.
* Collaborate with department leads to verify the feasibility of proposed strategies.
* Analyze multi-channel attribution data to optimize budget distribution.
* Develop detailed buyer personas and customer journey maps.
* Identify and integrate new marketing technologies into the agency’s stack.
* Produce executive-level reports detailing strategy performance and long-term trends.
* Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives across production teams.
* Forecast campaign results based on historical data and market conditions.
* Manage the transition of new clients from sales to the strategic planning phase.
* Adjust marketing roadmaps in response to platform algorithm changes or market shifts.
* Present strategic recommendations and performance reviews to client leadership.
Qualifications:
* 6+ years of experience in digital marketing strategy or high-level account planning.
* Deep expertise across SEO, PPC, Email Marketing, and Content Strategy.
* Proficiency in Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and data visualization tools.
* Proven track record of developing strategies that resulted in significant revenue growth.
* Experience managing marketing budgets in excess of $50,000 monthly.
* Strong understanding of technical marketing integrations and CRM systems.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
